How can I possibly resists mum's lasagne.....it's one of the best that I've tasted...I'm even more sinful tonight.....urrggghh....ok...low carbo diet for me tomorrow.....that's it....

The Devil Wears Prada

Bumped into someone at the lift lobby just now and he shocked me by calling me a DEVIL.....??? I was like HAH???? He pointed my bag...OIC....But hey!!! I did an angelic act by giving up my seat to a preggie woman in the train just now.....that makes me not even close of being one rite....devil don't do that stuffs...we both laughed.....

I'm feeling great this morning....fresh and spry....maybe coz today we gonna have a dept meeting.....I luvvvv dept meetings coz there will be endless chips and chocolate cakes to chow....btw, we will be having chocolate cake from Awfully Chocolate today.....yummy!!!

Or maybe the thot of being Thursday perks up my mood??? Coz tomorrow I will be on time off to go out with hub....hmmmm it's a mixture of everything....

My boys asked me that they wanna create their own blog page. I was....flabbergasted!!!!! They're barely 10....what's next???? My 2nd has been constantly asking me for a 3G fone and a MP4 player or an Ipod Nano...and he even told me it will be his ultimate dream to own a notebook and a PSP...oh yeah and he wants the new X-Box 360 or a PS3 for his birthday......the expensive list just go on and on and on...

Kids nowadays are way differ from kids my time....we are tought not to expect anything from parents.....I remember when I was younger, around my kids age....my mum bought me some toys that only costs her $10...I was too jolly for words....and even sleep with it....it was so dear to me.....I never had any expectations for expensive stuffs, never dare to request anything that was beyond her limits just not to burden her thoughts for not being able to provide me.....a good child I was (as Yoda would have said).......:)

Just a short note on my feelings towards my favourite drink!!!!
Coffee is part of me. It runs like blood in my veins...and fuels my soul...my psyche...

It keeps me awake and warms me up.....It gives me a sense of energy and direction whenever I'm stuck in the limbo of lost dreams.....It is something I can't leave without......

Daddy came home pretty late last nite....my eldest already zonked out for the day....daddy managed to spend 20mins of quality time with my 2nd and 3rd......they love pillow fights....

Now its Good Nite kiss for daddy....

A Whoopee Weekend (Part 2)

Hub surprised me with a short breakfast getaway from the kids at 7am...while they were sleeping :)

We had prata at Sembawang.....interesting coz the taste is just superb......the dough was splendid...and no not-too-oily & not-too-dry aftertaste. The not-so-sweet tea really perks me up although I prefer coffee more than anything else.

A Sunday Jaunt Into Nature

Our 1st trip was MacRitchie Reservoir. It scenery was tremendous but it was not what my kids had in mind. Managed to catch some pics though....

Then we decided to give Bukit Timah Nature Reserve a try hopefully it will turn out to be what my kids expect this outing would be....with a more undisturbed nature. So we drove all the way there....and you know what....my kids love it.

It was a sumptuous meal well spent there. Food was fantastic & reasonably price...nice & cozy ambiance too....

but location wasn't street friendly we almost lost our way there...luckily we managed to find help...tks Fouzia!!!

they even have a x-box corner with a 42" plasma tv. How cool was that!!!!
