It's finally Friday....feeling tired and lethargic.....coffee doesn't seems to do any justice to my soporific eyes...been watching Hikmah 3 at U Tube till almost 2am last night....I can't understand why I'm so hooked to poppycock dramas which has a very bland storyline and so predictable. It is like eating chips.....you can never stop by popping just 1 piece rite? Although we know it doesn't do good deeds to our body since it has zero nutrients, high in sodium and the fact that chips are unhealthy...but why are we still enjoying it.....????

Hub can never conceive how mum & I can tolerate what he called as dumb dramas with weak boring plots which could be either an incestuous affair ; boy loves girl then discovered they could be siblings, bitter break up, down with sorrows then in the end discovered they are not siblings anyway or 3-4 sided love affairs, boy loves girl but brother or best friend is also in love with the same girl and to make matter worse a family friend is in love with boy thus makes them chase one another in circles.....:)

I remembered there was a time where mum & me watched the whole 20 episodes of Winter Sonata from Sat afternoon till Sun morning (with frequent breaks to attend to my kids though) and how I would download the song as my ringtone....and when we sobbed our way when we watched Stairway to Heaven coz Choi Ji Woo, after so much sufferings, died at the end of the story.......and how much we hate Rain's childish & selfish character in Full House...and how my mum will forgo dinner so that she can watch Princess Hours on time.....

Hub like many other guys prefers heavy/confusing/unpredictable dramas that will ignite his senses......like Da Vinci Code for instance which he finds so stimulating but makes me go 'what the ?????' at the end of if.....(a bit too much for my brain's capacity).....

Why can't they enjoy lighter movies as much as we women do namely Something's Gotta Get, Lakehouse (I even watched the slower original Korean version 'Il Mare' just for comparison sake)....they have interesting plot, very intriguing & gripped us throughout the entire two hours of the film. Anyone has anything to add???
