Monday Blues

Considering the amount of outstanding work, my journey to office was inertly boring....my eldest, knowing the fact that tomorrow is Monday, still asked me questions like "Ibu, are you working tomorrow?" In my heart was saying "Duhh!!!" but I replied "Of coz Sayang..." He continued "I wish you don't have to work during our school holiday, it is just so boring without you and ayah around"....

That's the main reason why it is so draggy...considering kids need their parents to always be around them....

But towards the afternoon, my boss...for no rhyme or reason (probably for helping her with her terrible spreadsheet which she required urgently for a meeting today) complimented me by saying I'm so efficient and has given her a good support...awwww, it somehow make my day....of coz...not entirely happy with my workload....:)

Time check : 6.15pm. I'm no way close of packing my bag coz No.2 is still finalizing the budget figures. It has to reach No. 1 by tomorrow. My face is flushing, I can feel the heat on my cheeks..my colleague has been asking me if I had way to many drinks..yeah rite!!!...I'm feeling stress not tipsy...!!!

Penned all this down as it somehow ease the pressure that I'm feeling right now.

Called hub...he's still at work. Ahh!!! listening to his voice quietened my nerves.

I'm leaving the office by hook or by crook @ 7.30pm. It's already like a ghost town....and I'm just one of the dopey ones to be still seeing around at this hour..

I probably be grabbing a latte on my way home.
