Watched 'The Departed' with Hub in DVD....all I can comment is : über-cheesy a.k.a über-cheapo!!!

Honestly....We weren't moved at all when Leonardo & Matt Damon died at the end of that movie. It has no effect and was evanescent to us....the gunshots was soooo fake, the camera angle towards the end - sucks big time, there was a scene where an extra can't control himself & giggled at the sound of the rifle shots honouring Leonardo's funeral.....I was like..what the hell????? Why can't Martin Scorsese see that one coming???

Hub & me was laughing all the way as if that part was meant to be a comedy.Then we pondered why, considering it fetched quite a considerably good ratings but failed to impress us...

The original Hong Kong version 'Internal Affairs' still score big time.... My heart sank when Tony Leung's died & how much I love to hate Andy Lau's character....

So sad.....
